Ken is continually having nightmares of Chun-Li being strangled by Bison, and this begins to awaken his ki and his ability to tap Hadou. Eventually, Ken wakes up, although weaker than ever. He gradually summons the Hadou Shoryuken and manages to free himself from the chains, as well as a bust a hole in the ceiling allowing him to escape the room. Ken eventually begins to make his way deeper into the fortress in hopes of finding Ryu and Chun-Li.
